New Projects

Dr. Sujan Anreddy will serve as the principal investigator of the "Statewide Online Geriatric Health Resource Map: Access to Aging Resources in a High-need, Low Resource State" project. Dr. David Buys (Co-PI), Dr. Megan Stubbs-Richardson (Co-PI), and Tockie Hemphill (Project Evaluator) will also work on the Administration for Community Living funded project.

Dr. Holli Seitz will lead the "Extension Collaborative on Immunization Teaching and Engagement" or EXCITE project. This is the third implementation of the project that is funded through the Extension Foundation, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Learn more at https://bit.ly/44Y2fJD. 

Dr. Megan Stubbs-Richardson will serve as the principal investigator of “HNDS-I: A Data Visualization Tool for the COVID-19 Online Prevalence of Emotions in Institutions Database." Dr. Sujan Anreddy and Dr. Terri Hernandez will serve as Co-PIs for the National Science Foundation-funded project. Learn more at https://bit.ly/45iews1.

Personnel

Dr. Heather Hanna has been asked to serve on the Mississippi Senate-appointed Early Intervention Task Force that will make recommendations for system-level improvements to the program. She has also been asked to participate in the Mississippi Legislature-funded Early Intervention Pilot Study to test alternate methods of Early Intervention service provision. 

Dr. Heather Hanna and Callie Poole were invited by the Mississippi Early Learning Alliance to serve, with other partners, on the state core team for the Built for Babies Technical Assistance Project. The core team will participate in technical assistance focused on infant and toddler policy over the next two and a half years.
