Tockie Hemphill is a project manager with the Mississippi Thrive! Child Health and Development project. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rust College and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. She has a genuine love for learning and is dedicated to Education, Advocacy, and Research. She has experience in Veteran Services, Disability Services, Career Services, Counseling Services, Research, Advocacy, and Public Health. Her goal is to delve deeper into understanding psychosocial aspects around health, mental health, aging, and disability. This opens doors for extensive research and project evaluations that will lead to different treatment modalities and policy changes for patients and health care systems.
