Teresa Bryan-Watts has worked in research administration for over ten years.  She currently serves as the center's Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist. She has previously worked in various areas of research and health compliance and has extensive knowledge of federal grant applications and regulations for institutions holding federal awards and subcontracts. Teresa’s areas of expertise include pre-award administration,  human subjects, conflicts of interest, export controls, HIPAA regulations in research, and research compliance education. Teresa holds Master’s degrees in Sociology and  Public Policy and Administration. She is a certified research administrator and has completed a research compliance certification. She is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators and the Society of Research Administrators International, where she sits on their journal’s editorial board.
