Lauren E. Etheredge is a Research Associate at Mississippi State University’s Social Science Research Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mississippi State University in December of 2023. Her primary research interests include social determinants of health, community health, gender and sexual minority health outcomes, racial/ethnic disparities in health outcomes, policy impacts on health, ADHD and Autism assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, Social-Emotional Learning, bullying intervention, and impacts of AI and social media. Her undergraduate honors thesis examined barriers to mental healthcare among college students utilizing an intersectional approach to the data collection and analysis processes. She plans to pursue her master’s and PhD in sociology.
