Canon Sbravati joined the SSRC in May 2023 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. In collaboration with other team members, he led the development and maintenance of data collection and visualization software for various projects, including the Mississippi Tobacco Data Reporting and Progress System (TRAPS) and the Mississippi Alcohol Safety Education Program (MASEP). 
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics, Canon joined the SSRC full-time to continue the development and improvement of the MASEP systems. Recently, he has been designing an application for the Mississippi AWARE project in order to accurately track and assess student behavioral risk factors in schools across the state.
