THE 1999 SSSP CONFERENCE IN RICHMOND, VIRGINIA
The1999 SSSP meeting will be held November 5-6 in beautiful, historic Richmond, Virginia, which Money Magazine calls "the Best Place to Live" in the southeastern United States. The conference will be held at the Temple Building on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.
The Richmond metropolitan area boasts a population of approximately 1 million people and is a 90-minute drive from Washington DC, the Appalachian Mountains, and the Atlantic Ocean.
The Site Coordinators of the 1999 SSSP meeting are Don Forsyth, Mark Stasson, and Scott Allison, who hail from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond. James Beggan at the University of Louisville is the Program Chair. We are happy to announce that Bibb Latane at Florida Atlantic University has agreed to be our keynote speaker.
The Conference is scheduled for November 5-6, 1999. Everyone on the SSSP mailing list should receive the conference announcement by September 1, 1999. If you are not on the mailing list but would like to be, please contact James Beggan.
