This year's meeting is being hosted by Mike Kernis, Lenny Martin, and Abe Tesser of the University of Georgia, and it is being sponsored by the UGA Psychology Department as well as UGA's Institute for Behavioral Research. The conference will take place at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education on the campus of The University of Georgia. To register for the conference, please provide the information below and mail it to the address noted. You may also use fax, phone, or e-mail. Pre-payment is required to guarantee your registration, and reservations must be made by October 23, 1998.
Getting to Athens: Athens has a small airport that serves USAir Express commuter flights from Charlotte, N.C. If you decide to fly-in this way, let us know (llmartin@arches.uga.edu) and we will arrange to have a shuttle transport you from the airport to the Georgia Center. An alternative is to fly into Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport which is about 70 miles from Athens. There is a shuttle running between the Atlanta airport and the Georgia Center. The shuttle makes the trip 6 times a day and the price of a round-trip is $50.00. To make a reservation on the shuttle, call AAA Airport Express at 1-800-354-7874.
Facilities: Overhead projectors and slide projectors will be available. If you need anything else, let us know. Posters will be displayed on boards 4' X 8'. So, plan your poster size accordingly.
Special Arrangements: The Saturday lunch will be baked chicken. If you have any special dietary needs (e.g., vegetarian), let us know (llmartin@arches.uga.edu).
