Willie Brown

Willie Brown serves as a graduate research assistant at the Social Science Research Center (SSRC) working primarily with Tonya Neaves, MPPA and Dr. Arthur Cosby. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis in memory and metamemory. Much of his research has been in the areas of hurricane preparedness and Mississippi fatal crash data. Of late, he has been responsible for the data management and statistical analysis of the new Google N-Gram database, which is the basis for the center’s new Culturomics Laboratory. He is currently a member of the International Association for Metacognition and the Southeastern Psychological Association.
