Dr. Fee’s research focus is in the area of childhood psychopathology, having conducted studies on the assessment and treatment of children with mental retardation and autism, learning disabilities, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, social skills problems, obesity and eating disorder symptoms in pre-adolescents, and most recently, children of incarcerated parents. Dr. Fee has assisted with projects at the SSRC concerning the needs of children in the Midsouth and the Five Year Service Plan for the Mississippi Department of Human Services. She obtained grant funds to supervise graduate student trainees in clinical psychology in the evaluation and service provision to children in foster care with families/foster parents. She is currently working on a public opinion survey of Mississippi residents regarding attitudes toward incarceration, sentencing length and cost of incarceration. Dr. Fee has published articles in the Journal of Clinical Child Psychology, Child and Family Behavior Therapy, Eating Disorders: Journal of Treatment and Prevention and other refereed journals.
