Dr. Netadj started his career at Mississippi State University as a Teaching/Research Assistant in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work in 1986. Since then, he has held several positions, including adjunct professor at the Department of Human Sciences, College of Business and Industry, Director of Dining Services and assistant Research Professor at the Social Science Research Center. For his outstanding work as Director of Dining Services, he was the recipient of the Donald W. Zacharias Distinguished Staff Award in 2003. He has studied the contribution of education to the economic development of the communal groups which manage common property—rural lands or ejidos of the Mexican Laguna region. With his background in economics, he is also collaborating with research scientists at Sheffield Hallam University (England) in the field of Supply Chain Management, and serving as a business consultant with Iranian and South Korean companies. He has also published in refereed journals and presented his works at international meetings on E-Business and Supply Chain Management. As a Lecturer, he had taught courses on business statistics and quantitative analysis, and developed a course in International Agricultural Education, providing his students details of the role international relief agencies play in the development of agriculture in least-developed countries. He joined the Social Science Research Center in 2006. His research concentration is in the area of national security, particularly in the development and establishment of Partnership Programs between universities in the U.S. and those in the Middle East.
