Kiara Taite

Ms. Kiara Taite, a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Sociology and a Loftin Scholar, is a Graduate Research Assistant. Ms. Taite will assist Dr. Kathleen Ragsdale, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Research Fellow, and Dr. Melvin Ray, Professor of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work and Research Fellow, with research projects, presentations and conferences. Her areas of interests are race/ethnicity, gender and health. Ms. Taite completed a poster and co-presented with Dr. Ragsdale at the American Public Health Association (APHA) conference in Washington, DC.
