R. Gregory Dunaway
Dr. Dunaway is professor of sociology and Head of the Department of Sociology. He also a Research Fellow at the Social Science Reserach Center and member of the Crime and Justice Research Unit at the SSRC. Dr. Dunaway’s research interests include criminological theory, rural crime and justice, inequality and crime and justice, corrections and criminal justice policy. His past research projects have included an evaluation of Mississippi’s Drug Court Program; a survey of Mississippi’s Juvenile Detention Facilities and a study on Rural Crime and Justice. Dr. Dunaway’s work has been published in outlets such as Criminology, Justice Quarterly, The American Journal of Criminal Justice, Research in Crime and Delinquency and Journal of Quantitative Criminology.
