INJURED/ INCAPACITATED EMPLOYEE:
A first aid kit is located in suite 103 kitchen, suite 100 hallway and suite 201-B front desk
ASSEMBLY POINT If there is a need to evacuate the building all employees should assemble on the eastern most side of the upper parking lot for personnel accounting and further instructions from SSRC Safety Officer or appropriate authorities. ( Persons with special needs should be assisted from the building). Please make mental notes of people in your work area for accountability purposes.
SMOKE OR FIRE
TORNADO Tornado watch: weather conditions are favorable for tornado development Tornado warning: a tornado has been sighted by radar in surrounding area: Sirens will be activated ( note: sirens are tested on first Tuesday of each month at 12 noon unless questionable weather that day) Tornado Protection Procedures: When you hear a siren or are notified seek shelter in these predetermined areas: (stay away from doors and windows)
If tornado approaches assume kneeling position facing the wall and cover your head with your arms
DO NOT LEAVE SHELTER UNTIL ALL CLEAR IS GIVEN
EARTHQUAKE Within Building: Take refuge beneath a desk or
table. Stay away from windows,
shelving or large Outdoors: Move to open space away from buildings, light poles, power lines, trees, etc. Driving: Stop Vehicle away from buildings, powerlines, bridges, overpasses, trees.Remain in vehicle AFTER Earthquake: Evacuate building to designated evacuation point Anticipate aftershock as it will come Await further instructions from safety officer or appropriate authorities Violence ( Hostage - individual with weapon) :Immediately report to 911 All occupants remain in Offices with the doors locked unless instructed otherwise by authorities
