Research Associates Application Pool
Social Science Research Center, Mississippi State University
Research Associates in the Social Science Research Center hold part-time, or full-time, non-tenure track positions to assist in the conduct of social science research projects. They prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals, statistical analyses, and reports; participate in data collection; and perform and/or coordinate research activities. The Research Associate I, an entry-level, time-limited (1 year minimum), externally-funded professional, reports to a project director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science or related discipline.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral or social science or related discipline.
- Research/application experience in social or behavioral sciences or related field.
Salary:
- Commensurate with experience and expertise, subject to the funding level of the project.
