The FCRU is the home of MS KIDS COUNT. The mission of MS KIDS COUNT is to provide accurate and non-partisan data, statistics and original research about the health, education, safety and well-being of Mississippi’s children to policymakers, educators, program administrators, parents, caregivers, advocates, and the general public. The program also publishes a yearly Data Book on the status of Mississippi’s children. It is funded, in part, by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
